Episteme 2025

About the Program

Episteme 2025, an initiative by Pravaha in collaboration with IIIT-Hyderabad, was crafted to spark curiosity and deepen knowledge across three key domains: sustainability and climate change, advanced STEM immersion, and innovation, design thinking, and entrepreneurship.

Held from May 20 to June 2, 2025, the program brought together 29 exceptionally highly abled students aged 11 to 14 for a dynamic learning experience. The curriculum blended interactive lectures, hands-on activities, and real-world problem-solving to create a rich and engaging educational environment.

STEM & Sustainability

Merging advanced STEM education with sustainable practices to empower students in tackling environmental challenges.

Entrepreneurship

Developing entrepreneurial mindsets and skills to inspire future leaders and drive meaningful, real-world impact.

Innovation & Design Thinking

Fostering creative problem-solving and innovative thinking through hands-on design projects and workshops.

Environmental Awareness

Deepening students’ understanding of climate change and sustainability through engaging, real-world learning experiences.

Program Activities

Experiential Workshops & Bootcamps

Students took part in a range of interactive, hands-on workshops and bootcamps centered around STEM and sustainability. Activities included building and programming robots, developing Internet of Things (IoT) projects, and designing functional mobile applications.

Interdisciplinary Lectures

Expert-led sessions covered key topics in sustainability, climate change, and emerging technologies. These lectures aimed to expand students’ understanding, foster critical thinking, and spark intellectual curiosity across disciplines.

Field Excursion

Participants visited cutting-edge laboratories at IIIT-H and environmentally focused centers such as Kanha Shanti Vanam. They engaged with startup founders and sustainability experts, offering firsthand insight into real-world innovation and environmental ecosystems.

Design Challenge

The program culminated in a design challenge, where students synthesized their learning to develop creative, sustainable solutions to real-world environmental issues, demonstrating their innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
